Our Story

TASORO was founded by apartment investors who discovered that quality building materials do not need to be expensive. Ten years ago, to lower cost and increase quality, our founders decided to bring construction and materials procurement in-house for all of their apartment acquisition and renovation projects. They scoured the globe to find the top factories of the most well known and high-end brands producing flooring, bath, kitchen and interior finishes. The results of that search led to the development and launch of TASORO, our collection of high quality interior finish materials competitively priced direct for the multifamily industry.

Our founders have placed TASORO products in thousands of properties nationwide, saving millions of dollars on materials and driving higher returns for investors, owners/operators and contractors. In addition to cost savings, working with TASORO is simple. Steven Ludwig

Since 2002, Mr. Ludwig has founded a vertically integrated family of companies spanning real estate investment, development, management, construction, lending and building materials. Through a number of real estate vehicles, he has invested in over 100 properties and $700 million of private and institutional equity into $1.4 billion of real estate acquisitions with an outstanding track record of success. In addition, he is currently developing 1,000 multifamily and townhouse units in Southern California. Tal Zemer is President, General Counsel and Co-Founder of TASORO and Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of its sister general contractor company, Turnaround Solutions LP. Eddie Padilla holds the positions of President at Turnaround Solutions and Chief Operations Officer as well as Co-Founder of TASORO, an exclusive brand specializing in construction interior materials. Boasting over two decades of extensive experience as a General Contractor, particularly in multifamily and commercial real estate sectors, Eddie also possesses significant proficiency in single-family home construction. Tasked with pivotal responsibilities, Eddie assumes leadership in directing all aspects of construction, procurement, warehousing, logistics, and labor management for both enterprises.

TASORO founders begin multifamily property & construction management firm which has operated over 8,500 apartment units. (Coastline Real Estate Advisors, Inc., or “CREA”)


TAS begins manufacturing private label flooring products for its clients.


TAS expands its private label line of products to over 20 categories for multifamily interior finishes.

2015 – 2018

TASORO branded products created. Expanded customer base and begins to sell domestically to third party clients. Wins trademark. Proves concept in market by year end.


TASORO secures 120% growth YoY with pipeline to similar growth for 2023.



TASORO founders begin multifamily investment platform -purchased over $1.2 billion of real estate assets. (Coastline Capital Partners, LLC & NextGen Apartments, LLC).


TASORO founders begin multifamily & SFR renovations company which has renovated over 10,000 apartment units. (Turnaround Solutions, L.P., or “TAS”)


Branded concept is created. Sold exclusively to TAS and its clients.


TASORO spins off into its own corporate entity. Signs first distributor agreement and national contracts with multiple major clients. Secures millions of dollars in purchase orders in the first 6 months of corporate existence. TASORO Mex, S.A. is formed for future expansion and growth into Mexico.


TASORO implement ERP systems, expands warehouse operations and doubles staff.
